Sunday travel

On Sunday we left Minnesota. We had a 6 AM flight so we got up early. It was an hour earlier to our body because of the change to day light savings time.

We got to Miami about noon. We got our bags and checked them at the storage. What a great thing to have! We then got on the city bus for $1.50 and went to Miami Beach.

We walked out to the water and waded for a bit. We walked along the buildings facing the beach and stopped at a nice Days Inn for a drink and ice cream. Both were from a machine. Robin looked at the next hotel and saw some of our fellow travels sitting on the patio. We joined them for a while and told them about the bus.

We walked the street and looked at the shops and restaurants. We had a nice dinner at an Argentinian restaurant. Robin got some new sandals because the rubber in hers were disentegrating and turning her feet black. We went back to the beach on the way to the bus. We saw our fellow traveller's at the bus stop and rode back to the airport with them.

We met up with the rest of the group at the airport. After some drinks we all checked in. Our plane left for La Paz at 11:15 PM.

As always they didn't want us to sleep right away so they feed us. Both Robin and I slept most of the way. It wasn't enough and wasn't very restful.
