Our day in Cochabama

We had a great american breakfast;eggs, cereal, juice, coffee.

We walked on the boulevard with no traffic because there was a running race around it. Actually it was a race walking race. Several countries were represented. It was so nice.

At 11 we walked to the search and rescue/fire department. One of the Mano a Mano doctors is on it. It is the only one in the city (of 200,000 or more), just amazing. They have old equipment but do a lot. They even parachute into the jungle.

Robin and I walked around and had lunch. We went to the Tin Barron's house and garden but it was closed.

My brother Jon is going to post some pictures at www.lagerquist.com/joel/travel/photos/bolivia.

Tomorrow we are off to Sucre.

(Yes I know my home weather station is off line. I guess we had a power outage during the storm on Thursday.)
