New travel problems

One thing I like about the Central and South American people is that they get involved with problems in their countries. Many times this means walks in the street or road blocks. Unfortunately for us there is a problem now with the national airline. The workers have not been paid for some time so they closed a local airport. It was the airport we are going to arrive at on Monday.

This was after they had two planes repossessed five weeks ago and dropped the flight from Bolivia and Peru a week ago. We were going to fly on that flight and had to change our plans. We are not crossing the border via bus. The good thing is we do this around Lake Titicaca.
