Clinic visit

Early Tuesday we got in their SUVs and took the roads to a small town. It took us several hours to get there. It was driving in the mountains on a dirt road.

The local bus and taxi people were protesting a new tax so they had blocked the roads out of town. Our drivers knew some back roads and slipped through.

The clinic was nice. Small and functional. They are also working on a new school, teacher apartments, and cafeteria. Someone else is working on a covered gym.

We had a lunch of boiled potatoes and eggs.

I got an upset stomach on the way back. I made it back and took a nap.

Tomorrow we go out toward Ohorno (not sure of spelling) to be at the opening of 3 schools in the area. We will be out of touch for a few days.
