Blurb about the project
Thursday, the 6 of September, we inaugurated the 79th clinic and the 29th educational project in the community of Piusilla, belonging to the municipality of Morochata.
We would like to thank the Lennox foundation, which has been this project's main financial supporter, as well as the colaboration with the anonymous donor, the municipality of Morochata and the comnunity of Puisilla.
The inauguration act was as always interesting and moving. The kids from the community had prepared traditional dances, from the very youngest to the teenagers. The various authorities held speeches thanking us for the project, and later the community served freshly caught and very delicious salmon.
The community of Piusilla belongs to the province of Ayopaya in the Cochabamba department. It has a population of around 3.700, whereof almost 800 are children aged between 5 and 17. It takes approximately two hours to get there by vehicle from the city of Cochabamba.
